So, what kind of moving gizmos do we pack in our vehicles?
Well, every single one of our trusty trucks comes loaded with moving blankets (not for naptime, sorry), straps, shrink wrap and a hand trolley. Need a toolbox for a bit of furniture surgery or maybe a platform trolley? Don’t worry, we got your back! Just drop a hint when you’re making the booking and we’ll gear up accordingly. Are my goods insured and what happens if goods are damaged during the move?
Alrighty, time to get a wee bit serious. So, our mover dudes are all nice and cozy with public liability insurance, but your stuff doesn’t automatically get a free ride on the Insurance Express. We promise to handle your goods like they’re made of unicorn feathers, but hey, life has its twists and turns. That’s why we highly recommend getting a separate ‘goods-in-transit’ insurance before your stuff hits the road. Give our reps a shout, and they’ll guide you to insurance wizards who can cover your goods faster than a cat can swat a laser dot. Do you offer a packaging service?
Need help with the great box tape battle? Our moving magicians are more than happy to lend a hand. They can swoop in to help with packing just before the move or on a day that suits your fancy. You can either gather your own packing armada, or we can bring ours – boxes, tapes, you name it – and you just cover the cost for what you use. Less waste, more taste, right? For the nitty-gritty on pricing, just give our reps a buzz. They’ll fill you in on the deets for our super-duper packing service.
Is it safe to move a fridge in a laying down position?
Fridge relocation can be a chilly business, right? But don’t worry, the experts have got us covered. They advise giving your fridge a bit of a vacation – turning it off a few hours before the move and not waking it up for a few hours post-move. That way, your chilly buddy should be just fine, even if it takes a nap (or, in layman’s terms, is laid down). But hey, if you’re a bit frosty about laying your fridge flat due to the van’s height, we can arrange for an open tray or a truck. That way, your fridge can stay upright and enjoy the scenery during the trip. Just give us a heads-up about your preferences when you book!

However, just like a good soup recipe, the secret is in the details. So, make sure to describe your items as accurately as possible when booking. Remember, ‘approximately 10 boxes’ is a bit different than ‘approximately 10 boxes, 2 beds, a grand piano, and a life-size T-Rex replica’!
